A detached bungalow with bright Scandinavian interiors

This 1940s detached bungalow was purchased nearly in ruin and transformed into a wonderful home full of life, located in a quite area outside Biarritz, France. Inside is very bright, with robust materials of gray concrete flooring and blackened steel framed windows. Remnants of the old house remains, such as the brick wall behind the stove in the kitchen. Natural light wood furnishings and accessories helps infuse the interiors with warmth, giving into a Scandinavian aesthetic, along with the many furs scattered throughout, rugs and rich fabrics such as old linen and lace.
